Linux Engineer / Systems Engineer, redhat SELinux with strong scripting experience (bash, perl), Basingstoke - 6 months contract The Role My client, a major technology firm in Hampshire, requires a talented Linux specialist / Systems Engineer to join them for a minimum 6 month contract. You would have a proven background with RedHat Enterprise and / or SELinux, with solid experience of scripting - bash, perl. You would also be used to working with kickstart for both pre and post stage tailoring. Additional experience with grub for Linux boot process would be ideal. Together with excellent Linux skills, you would of course be used to working with RAID configuration and management (both hardware and software), and the usual network and service configuration - DNS, DHCP, LDAP, HTTP, NFS, SBM - preferable with some MAC experience as well. The excellent 6 MONTH CONTRACT would see you working in a dynamic environment with this big name company in technology research. Not one to miss!
